Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account, accessing, or using apisloth, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The service

apisloth monitors API descriptions, identifies contract changes, analyzes connected source repositories, proposes code changes, runs available verification, and may open pull requests on your behalf. Features may change as the service develops.

Automated output can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing proposed changes and deciding whether to merge, deploy, or otherwise rely on them.

3. Accounts and access

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
• You must have the right to connect every API, repository, credential, and other resource you submit to the service.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of specifications, repository content, logs, and other material you provide. You grant apisloth a limited right to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that material only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

When you connect a code host or provide an access token, you authorize apisloth to inspect the selected repositories and, when requested by the workflow, create branches and pull requests.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use apisloth to:

• violate law, infringe another person’s rights, or access systems without authorization;
• introduce malware, abuse service resources, interfere with other users, or attempt to bypass security or usage limits;
• reverse engineer the service except where that restriction is prohibited by law; or
• submit secrets or regulated data that you are not authorized to process through the service.

6. Third-party services

apisloth interoperates with third-party services such as code hosts, cloud infrastructure, API providers, and AI model providers. Their terms and availability are outside our control. You are responsible for maintaining any third-party accounts and permissions required for your workflows.

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service, including preview or free features. We may impose reasonable limits to protect service reliability, security, and fair use.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a material breach, legal requirement, security risk, nonpayment, or threat to the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, apisloth is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted and error-free operation. We do not warrant that generated code or verification will identify every issue or be suitable for production use.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, apisloth and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
